Transdev is seeking individuals for the position of Customer Service Coordinator . This position is part of our management services contract with Foothill Transit, the second largest transit system in Los Angeles County, California. Foothill Transit is an award-winning bus system with a fleet of 361 vehicles and ridership of 14 million annually.
Responsible for assisting the Transit Store General Manager with coordinating administrative activities for the Contract and provide assistance to the Transit Store team.
Responsibilities
Prepare payroll submissions to corporate and respond to payroll related questions from employees
Maintain sick/vacation accrual records
Consults with Regional Human Resources Manager on human resources issues related to hiring, compensation, training, development, disciplinary actions and termination
Assists with the understanding of human resource policies and procedures
Coordinates the hiring process using the iCIMS system including creating requisitions, candidate screening, hiring, new employee set-up (I-9 Forms), payroll, and leaves of absence (FMLA)
Ability to coordinate and manage a variety of tasks/projects to meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Ability to handle multiple projects with a high level of integrity and confidentiality as it relates to sensitive information.
Above average computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail, and Internet.
Reviews and updates process and procedure documentation
Promote a professional, friendly, customer-driven environment
Assist Transit Stores with coverage
Maintains confidentiality of all information
Answer phones and customer inquiries in a timely manner
Sell a variety of bus passes and tickets
Assure pass sales reconciliation is accurate
Prepare sales reports as necessary
Issue ID's for discounted passes
Other duties as required

Knowledge of all office equipment
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, manage time, and work without constant supervision
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to maintain a flexible attitude and approach to assignments
Travel requirement (as a percent) : <5% for occasional meetings
