Transdev Curbside Supervisor in Phoenix, Arizona

The position is responsible for all aspects of the Curbside Ambassadors service element of the City of Phoenix (COP) Aviation Rental Car Shuttle agreement. This includes policy enforcement, employee training and scheduling, general administration duties, and payroll. This position directly interacts with customers in support of the airport terminals and Consolidated Rental Car Center (RCC) operations. It helps determine customer and client satisfaction levels.


  • Responsible for the training and development of Curb Ambassador personnel to meet all Transdev Transportation and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport standards and requirements.

  • Coordinates and directs operators and busses as needed at the terminals and the Rental Car Center.

  • Oversees Ambassadors ensuring they meet and greet customers, provide assistance with baggage at loading and unloading locations, and provides information and direction associated with airport services provided.

  • Communicates with Transdev Control Center and Transportation Manager on matters related to the operation and facilitation of service for the traveling public.

  • Works with Transdev Transportation Manager to ensure the efficient utilization of Curb Ambassador resources.

  • Ensures compliance with all Airport rules and regulations and ShuttlePort standard operating procedures.

  • Ability to successfully multitask in a fast paced environment.

  • Ensures Ambassador efficiency is met on a daily basis.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Education Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.

  • College degree preferred, but not required

Experience Required:

  • Two (2) years of relevant customer service leadership experience

  • Two (2) years of experience in an Airport setting

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language

  • Ability to create memos and other correspondence

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills

  • Ability to use Microsoft products

Physical Requirements:

  • 100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities

  • Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.

  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
