The Data Analyst is responsible for creating reporting solutions that unlock business insights for IntelliRide and help provide focus to actualize strategic initiatives for individual locations. Deliverables may include the following: reports; dashboards; visualizations; excel reports; stored procedures, views and Adhoc queries; related documentation; and other types as needed to support business requirements.
The duties and responsibilities of the Data Analyst center around the following:
Assist in defining and documenting business and technical requirements
Assist in defining, validating, and implementing data cleanup procedures, transformations, scripts, stored procedures, and execution of test plans for loading data successfully
Write and performance tune complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI or similar
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Perform administrative tasks to support reporting.
Make recommendations to operations for enhancements to systems of record or business process to improve accuracy of operational data
Data Security and Compliance
Utilize automation to create efficiencies and reduce resource allocation for routine tasks and procedures.
Process confidential data and information according to guidelines
Train end users on new reports and dashboards.
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 1+ years of professional experience with Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI).
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Proficiency with SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Views Functions
Experience with dimensional data modeling
Proficiency with DAX queries in Power BI desktop
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
