Responsibilities:
Insure invoices show correct pricing and are properly coded for payment.
Insure all invoices have been processed for months-end reporting
Track and enforce warranties for parts and services.
Identify trends, insure sufficient supply of parts and consumables for special projects, campaigns, and weather related events/seasons.
Insure the needs of the staff are met in a timely manner.
Work with Vendors to find the best pricing and to negotiate purchasing contracts for equipment, parts, services, and supplies.
Buyer for goods and services needed by the centralized Maintenance Department for timely work order completion (create purchase requisitions, expedite orders as needed, and follow up on order fulfillment).
Identify, buy for, and Maintain proper levels of inventory to avoid project and maintenance down time.
Support and direct field operations managers with purchasing needs / requests
Annual physical Inventory counts and monthly cycle counts
Work with accounting to reconcile physical inventory to system counts.
Responsible for keeping the purchasing database up to date and accurate
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
5+ years of related work experience
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
