The Business Analyst will assist the Senior Management team in improving company performance through the utilization of analytical methodologies and the application of sound business principals in order to reduce costs.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements data collection process and reporting activities.

  • Receives, stores, merges and cleans data sets of varying size and complexity, preparing data for analysis.

  • Works closely with Senior Management with reporting and analyzing data from the databases.

  • Coordinates migration and import of data from stand-alone databases to the dashboards.

  • Provides detailed descriptions of analysis and findings.

  • Facilitates, interprets and presents data to various levels of management.

  • Actively seeks new knowledge of methods for data management and analysis to increase quality and measures.

  • Designs and prepares special reports and other data compilations as requested.

  • Understands and draws inferences from data being collected.

  • Communicates with internal and external customers to discuss analysis results.

  • Prepares and maintains documentation for existing processes.

  • Performs other projects and assignments as directed.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing and Certifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree preferred or any combination of education and experience.

Experience Required:

  • Experience managing databases and conducting data analysis.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Adept in desktop applications especially MS Excel (pivot tables, data indexation, charting, etc.) and software tools.

  • Analytical Thinking - Applies analytical techniques (e.g., separating a complex whole into its parts or elements to resolve problems or issues).

  • Communication of Results - Ability to express concepts (e.g. business, technical, and other), ideas, insights, opinions, and conclusions, so that others understand or are persuaded to act.

Travel requirement outside of immediate area (as a percent) <5%

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check including fingerprinting.

Compensation:

  • $49,000 per year plus benefits
